Watercraft
Building a wooden boat is one of the few endeavors left these days that challenge both hand and mind, and the satisfaction you get from creating your own attractive and useful watercraft is second to none.
The basic construction techniques of traditional wooden boatbuilding are not difficult to learn; the tools required are minimal and likely to be found in a very modestly equipped shop. We offer here a selection of boats that are developed and drawn with the amateur boatbuilder in mind. All the information necessary to complete each boat is included in the plans and construction notes, and no lofting is required.
And you won't be building your boat alone. When you embark on a Jordan Wood Boats project, you are always welcome to call, write or send e-mail with questions about your project. We will do everything we can to make your boatbuilding experience fun and memorable.
Welcome to a new adventure that I know you will find both challenging and rewarding.
